Biographies:
Rikki Thomas-Martínez, Guitar and Lead Vocal
Cross-cultural musical traveller Rikki Thomas-Martínez has moved with his Spanish guitar within the sonic
worlds of Latin, Flamenco, Asian, and western music and now sets Más Y Más ablaze with a uniquely hot
flavoured style.
Half Spanish and half-Welsh he writes and sings in Spanish, English and French. Under the guidance of the
famous Gypsy Flamenco master "El Entri" he studies Flamenco guitar in Madrid.
He has played in 'Big Zen', 'El Nagual', the acclaimed power duo 'The Brothers Sonido,' and composes for film,
animation and dance commissions.
Wayne D. Evans, Double Bass
After a lengthy career performing self-penned material in both rock and acoustic settings throughout Europe
and the USA, notably New Wave sensations 'Gaffa' and the soul rock 'Marcel Marceau Sound', Wayne Evans
came to the double bass.
Originally as a sideline, whilst working with Mike Metzner as songwriters, the sideline has now become a
mainline in Más Y Más.
With fiery musical talent and passion for the low end of the sound rainbow he has woven a compelling and
driving style on his old brown wooden instrument.
Richard Kensington, percussion
Conguero Richard Kensington keeps the floor heaving with his relentless rhythmic charge. Coming up though
the worlds of 'Changeling' and 'Beat Girl' he has played with Spanish Rumba band 'Gazpacho' and Bossanova
sensations 'Brazilica'.
He has studied Afro-Cuban drumming styles under Master Drummers Dave Hassell, Arturo Martínez, Christian
Weaver (La Timbala) and 'Chaguito' (former Clave y Guaguanco).
Having developed a unique style combining congas, bass drum and clave, he uses this massive percussion
sound to drive the music of Más Y Más.
