Boogie Nights Band

Boogie Nights are experienced in all types of functions from weddings theo to dinner dances,corporate events and Military functions.The band is flexible in their approach and will always endevour to adapt their music to suit the occasion.The band members are all proffesional musicians and are experienced in performing many different styles.

You will not be dissapointed with this versatile and energetic bandBoogie Nights/Sassy Swing is a six (or five/seven piece) band from London who perform classic soul, disco, funk, pop and dance from the sixties to the present day/a variety of swing and jazz music. The line up is lead female vocals, lead guitar and backing vocals, drums and backing vocals, electric bass and keyboards and can include a saxophonist if required.

In the years we have been together we have played at a variety of functions at varied venues up and down the country and abroad. We don’t specialise in any particular function and therefore have been booked for weddings, corporate functions, birthday parties and venues who just want to hear great music. Past gigs have included Redbridge Fair 2003, Mezzo’s, Brannighan’s and various pubs and clubs around the South East. Charity work has included the Butterfly Ball and last year we performed at the Sports Aid Summer Ball. We are happy to play abroad and work has included two weeks at the Sheraton Hotel, Poland for the “Something Else” bar. We have played at many corporate events including corporate Christmas parties at the brand new Radisson hotel at Stansted Airport and have been booked again for this years’, UK charity Cancer Research, computer giants IBM, American clothing store Talbot’s, drug manufacturers Fujisawa and GSC, the opening of a restaurant in City Airport, Christmas party for City Airport employees, Broad Street London and London recruitment company Parker Bridge.

We do two packages for weddings. Both include the use of our PA and lights and would include two hours of music (this can be arranged to suit your needs). We also have the facilities to play out background music though our own CD player. We can also cater for people who want a slightly bigger band; we can include a saxophonist. Our second package includes a DJ who will provide music for the whole evening around our playing and can cater to your needs. Because he is a regular with us we share equipment to minimise the space we would use. If you would like background jazz during dinner or arrival drinks we can add this onto the package as well. We can dress to suit your occasion and have both a casual look and a black tie outfit.

We can work in London, Essex, Surrey, East and West Sussex and Kent.
